Dan and I have just returned from our first Christmas Party of the season and we had a great time. Dan did his new trick of wandering around dragging me by the hand and opening / closing doors. He also practiced his perennial favorite of smiling at nice ladies until they smile back, a good life skill.
It was hosted by one of Jacqui's mum's group which I have infiltrated and there were about 10 pairs of parent and baby, well I suppose infants at least now. It was surprising to see how much all the little monkeys had changed in the last month. There was much more moving going on, I remember fondly the stationary months. They are all a friendly bunch and have made me welcome for which I am very grateful. He's out for the count now, hopefully for a couple of hours. A bit late on nap time, sorry Jacqui but worth it.
We'll probably stay round the house this afternoon and give him a chance to wind down, can't have too much excitement in one day.
