Communications Update

Our little genius is now communicating with us, this is both good and bad.

Today I was told that I had done a 'Good job daddy' upon correctly identifying a train.

Then again he also proclaimed that a gorilla was a 'Funny guy' so the scale may be dubious at best. The obvious Canadian slant on some of his phrases is obviously concerning too. His inflections for hippopotamus for example, are midatlantic if I'm generous.

But communication is happening and this is making things more interesting if not easier ;). Also vague grasping of time makes negotiations and explanations better. I can explain that I'll be back to pick up either in two hours or later and they work well and stop tears.

He knows his numbers up to about twenty and his uppercase letters and everything in the world about trains :)

However some of his words are completely unintelligible no matter how often and how loudly they are repeated. But generally talk good.
